About Me

Thanks for stopping by! I’m Elisa, a mom of four and newlywed, who bought the home I grew up in and am working my way room by room, DIYing and making it perfect for us. After buying the house I convinced my parents to stay and live here with us (I definitely won the favorite child!), so now it’s me, the four kids, new husband, my mom and dad AND our dog, Duke making up our multi generational home.

Our living space is no ordinary abode; it’s a double geodesic dome that my ingenious parents dreamed up and built when I was just 10-years-old.

I have been creating and building in my homes forever, even before the internet. Yes, I said before, I am in my mid 40’s and loving this phase of life. I went through some personal struggles in my life and it took me some time to find some footing and confidence in my abilities. I always found that confidence in DIY and I knew if I could harness that feeling, and apply it to other areas of my world, I could be successful.

Speaking of DIY, I have made everything from my kids Halloween costumes to the chairs that made my profile go viral on Instagram. So many of my friends have asked me to teach them how to make things, so now I am launching a course on how to restore furniture and do your own DIY at home.  I want you to experience the confidence and joy DIY and furniture restoration brings to each day!
